Brevis powers verifiable mindshare data on @Polymarket. It’s worth highlighting again just how important privacy is here. Kaito's algorithms are proprietary. They can't just open-source their system to prove legitimacy. But prediction market participants need assurance the data isn't manipulated. ZK proofs thread the needle: Brevis verifies calculations executed correctly without Kaito revealing anything about how those calculations work. The algorithms stay private. This time we move from fundamentals to real ZK-powered crypto use-cases, and believe me, there are tons of different ground-breaking ones available, including: 🥷 Privacy Applications Here you can prove a validity of a transaction without revealing underlying sensitive details, thanks to zk-SNARKs which enable shielded options. @Zcash is def a great example of privacy dApp. ⛓️ ZK Rollups for Scaling Unlike privacy dApps, ZK rollups use succinct validity proofs to scale blockchains by batching transactions off-chain and posting proofs. Privacy doesn't really matter here, but succinctness, efficient verification, and execution cost def do. @LineaBuild @zksync @Starknet are great exaples of ZK rollups. 🌁 ZK Bridges for Cross-Chain Verification Blockchains are inherently isolated and cross-chain bridges enable asset/data transfer. Unlike traditional bridges which use trusted validators/committees, ZK bridges use cryptographic succinct proofs. I bet you all know the examples like @LayerZero_Core @axelar @PolyhedraZK. 🪪 ZK Identity & Credentials Attest whatever with succinct ZK proofs without actually revealing the details or full data. @zkPass perfectly fits into this category, allowing to prove i.e. age or residency without actually revealing details. 🖥️ Verifiable Computation Currently smart-contracts have a lot of limitations like high gas cost or inability to scan large onchain history. Verifiable computation solves the puzzle and allows smart-contracts to access heavy off-chain data computation, analytics or AI inference and then post proofs onchain. Yes, this is exactly what Brevis does, even though it requires any types of ZK proofs workloads - Brevis is fully ready to handle it 😻 If you've been following recent Breivs development, then you might know examples like @eulerfinance @MetaMask @usualmoney that use TWA (time-weighted-average) computations to efficiently and trustlessly distribute the rewards for ongoing campaigns.
