we launched our new unit of inquiry in first grade @a2mitchell focused on how expression comes in many forms! we had fun learning all about sound and how it travels all while constructing instruments in our at home learning spaces! our closing circle was rocking:) #a2ib #pltw
wrapped up our unit of inquiry with a virtual field trip to the @lesliesnc...not only did we get to see some pretty cool living things on the screen but also each kid had a pretty cool kit IRL with snake skin, special snake goggles, and gecko gloves:) it was a lot of fun! #a2ib
we have been learning about living things & how their structures/ functions that help them to survive can also inspire innovations! today we had a virtual visit from our very own @A2schools author, @MzzColby who shared her writing process for these awesome biomimicry books! #a2ib
