#RDNH #aablocks.com denied. The Complainant, a California-based chemical products company, claimed rights in its registered device mark #ACHEMBLOCK / ADVANCED CHEMBLOCKS INC (USPTO Reg. No. 6,573,245) and alleged unregistered rights in related signs. The Respondent AA Blocks LLC, also a California chemical sector firm, registered the #domain in November 2017 and has used it continuously in its legitimate business, run by a principal with over 25 years in the industry. The Panel found the Complainant failed all three UDRP elements: the domain's only overlap with the Trademark was the descriptive word "blocks," which even the Complainant's own evidence acknowledged is a generic chemical industry term for building blocks; the "AA" prefix was not an abbreviation of the Complainant's marks; and no targeting of the Complainant was shown at the time of registration in 2017, which predated the Complainant's trademark registration.
