If you see me at #AC2015 #anthrocon2025 , Don't be afraid to approach me and chat me up. I love meeting people. I've had some people online tell me they're afraid to bother me. Already had a handful of random encounters at the waterfront. Tons of fun!
There was a big challenge after #AC2015 and Abdel Nasser Barakat stepped up in a big way. He was bold in his decisions to jettison a successful generation and build a new team around the likes of Hamadi, Jaber, Battat, Seyam, Darweesh, Shaban, Maraaba, and Islame
Jamal Mahmoud did the most with the least. Qualifying for #AC2015 ten years ago was a miracle- he wasn't getting paid, players showed up to camp in jerseys of their favourite European teams- we were not allowed to participate in ACQ and had to qualify through the Challenge Cup
@FootballAUS π looking forward to the opportunity for @TheMatildas to build upon and exceed #AC2015 triumph of @Socceroos @StadiumAus by winning the #FIFAWWC @FIFAWWC at the same venue - it would be a first for an #Australian national team of any age group to win a world cup of #football

@psplayeragent Well I think we were at a very different place post #AC2015 we needed to bring in a new generation and find a way to compete against the big boys. Barakat came in and brought along many Olympic team players. A shame he didn't get a chance to finish the project
@MurrayShaw1 @squires_david . Thoroughly enjoyed the #AC2015 review Muz - a fantastic trip down memory lane. A real honour an career highlight to have been involved. Incredible that 4 years have rolled around again already. Looking forward to @afcasiancup #AFCAsianCup2019 @adampeacock3 @nutmeg_2015
Watched #PLEvJOR from #AC2015 again. What a strange game. Jordan's experience delivered them the victory but that scoreline was really harsh. 1-3 or 2-4 would have been a more accurate reflection than the 1-5.
Rematch at #AsianCup2019 sure to be a very different proposition.
With the @afcasiancup draw out (tough one) and the blockbuster #ALeagueGF tonight, an interesting question: which is the bigger match Newcastle will have hosted? The #AC2015 Semi Final or the @ALeague GF?
