#Accugas, #Savannah’s midstream subsidiary in #Nigeria, was proud to host the Savannah Energy Education and Internship Training Leadership and Mentorship workshop for the second cohort of students on the programme. Held recently in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the workshop helped to equip 50 Savannah undergraduate scholarship beneficiaries with in-demand ICT skills, robust career readiness strategies, and foundational leadership principles. These efforts help to bridge the gap between academia and industry, empowering the next generation of leaders. The sessions, which were facilitated by experienced coaches and people development professionals, covered various topics such as: • Life after university; • Foundations for a successful career; • Leadership andself-awareness; • Financial intelligence; • Succeeding in the marketplace; and • ICT in the workplace. The Savannah Energy Education and Internship Training programme in Nigeria is strongly aligned with Pillar 1 of our sustainability strategy, which focuses on promoting socio-economic prosperity within our host countries in Africa. This is in line with our chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education – helping to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
