#WSFT #WorldSavingFightingTournament is a new game powered by the brand new #AdventureSystem. The rules include a full tournament fighter adventure with premade Fighters for PCs and NPCs! And $1 from every $3 purchase of the game goes to anti-hunger charities!

But with the exception of a few points players spend on their characters' feats that is character creation in #WorldSavingFightingTournament and basically any #AdventureSystem game. And the feats in #WSFT are all combat focussed so I'll save them for the combat thread

Combat and chases are slightly more complicated in the #AdventureSystem primarily because I built this system for #WorldSavingFightingTournament #WSFT, a game all about recreating the irrational fun of tournament fighting video games and especially the movies based on them

Occasionally tasks may require a higher level of success but the vast majority of non-combat rolls only require a success because #WSFT #WorldSavingFightingTournament & other #AdventureSystem games are less simulationist and more narrative-driven, with the exception of Kombat

Those 2 D12 are added together and if they are equal to or less than the target the character has succeeded. In the #AdventureSystem if the player rolls far enough below their target they score an Easy Success or an Impressive Success.

The Domains in #WSFT #WorldSavingFightingTournament are Melee, Ranged Combat, Magic, Travel, and Technology.
Every dice roll in the #AdventureSystem combines a basic trait with a Domain to determine a target. Then the player rolls 2-D12

Next players assign a number of points to their Domains. The number of points players have to spend depends on the number of Domains the #AdventureSystem game is using. In #WorldSavingFightingTournament there are 5 Domains and players get 10 points to spend

In the #AdventureSystem player characters have 5 basic traits (Might, Nimbleness, Toughness, Magic, and Common in #WSFT). Players roll 12 D8s and assign the total value of 1-3 of their dice to each basic trait. GMs are advised to limit players to assigning 2 high rolls to one
