From spotting injured elephants to guiding rescues in the remotest parts of Kenya, our Aerial Unit is central to conservation in action. Utilising fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, our team of highly skilled pilots flew over 3,700 hours in 2024 alone — covering more than 319,000 kilometres. That's almost 8 times around the world! These flights help us detect emergencies, respond rapidly, and support vital field operations, from treating wounded wildlife to extinguishing fires and extricating elephants trapped in wells. In landscapes as vast and remote as Tsavo, every hour in the sky matters. Learn more about how our Aerial Unit supports Kenya’s wild spaces: https://t.co/UjUV9WgFS6 #AviationForConservation
