I wrote 4000 words today, and were just shy of 74k words. It's going well, rewrites will be necessary as well as revisions. There are a lot of moving parts, and stuff to track. Having fun though.

And done. 3140 words written today. Switched POV at the end and we'll see how this looks. One thing I'm not liking is this is a transition book in a way. This WIP sort of exists to set up Goblin King and I'm not a fan of that. We'll see how it shapes up. #amwrit

I think in a lot of ways my ambition will be my downfall. I can't cheat when it comes to writing so I can finally stretch my wings with something intellectually and creatively. I'm finding, I have limits though and my attempts to exceed them are quite revealing. #amwrit
Wrote over 4k words today. Feels like I'm on the right track but not quite. Most of this is extraneous but it felt good to let things go and write. Probably going to start another project soon, something away from my current projects. Till tomorrow

Easier was her motivation for killing Children of the Night. Unlike others like her in fiction, Rayne and Eric Brooks among them, Rowan kills her father's people because it's fun and she figures that's her purpose. If she's capable and she likes it, why not? #amwrit
One of the challenging things about writing Rowan is while she has FULLY embraced the modern age, she has hang ups that originate in the early 1800's and that requires some...finesse #amwriting

So I'm being pretty daring I think with this work. I've never written a whodunit and I'm throwing bits and pieces to one group of characters and not to others and the suspect list is longer than I intended but I'm going for it with this one. That's a rule. Go for it. #amwrit
This book of mine feels a little off the rails. I know what I need to do and where it's going but it's meandered hard and shifted around in how I needed to tell it. Nothing so terrible but straightening it out will be fun. On track to finish before Christmas #amwrit
