🚨 ALERT: Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center Hit by Cyberattack! 🚨 The shadowy #AnonTeam ransomware crew is crowing (claiming responsibility) about pulling off a jaw-dropping cyber heist at Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC) in Anchorage, Alaska. They’re claiming to have swiped a staggering 23TB of sensitive data🫣yep, you read that right, terabytes! This isn’t just a little leak; it’s a full-on data tsunami, and it’s got the potential to wreak havoc on thousands of lives. ANHC, a community health center that’s been serving Alaskans since 1974, is a lifeline for folks who need affordable healthcare. They’re a federally qualified health center, meaning they cater to underserved communities with top-notch medical care. But now, their patients are caught in the crosshairs of this cyber mess. According to the hackers, they’ve got their hands on a treasure trove of private info⁉️Names, Social Security numbers, birthdates, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and even protected health information. This is the kind of stuff that can ruin lives if it falls into the wrong hands, and guess what? The hackers are already flexing their power, reportedly emailing patients directly with their own stolen data.. ANHC is scrambling to respond, and they’ve confirmed they’re digging into this with help from law enforcement and cybersecurity pros. But here’s where it gets murky and I’ve got to ask some questions ❓Their phone lines have been down since late August, and their website’s been cagey about “technical difficulties.” Sounds like a classic case of damage control while the chaos unfolds behind the scenes. One patient, going by “Elizabeth” to protect herself, says she got a chilling email from the hackers flaunting her personal details, Social Security number, address, the works. She’s understandably freaked out, and who wouldn’t be? ANHC may have sent out a letter admitting there “may” have been a breach, but they’re still in the early stages of figuring out what the heck happened. Meanwhile, the FBI’s staying tight-lipped, and local police haven’t said a peep. Typical, right🤷‍♂️ This isn’t just about one clinic. Cyberattacks like this are a growing plague, especially on healthcare providers. The fact that #AnonTeam claims of doing this shows they are bold enough to brag about stealing 10,000 patient records shows they’re not playing small ball. So what come after? And with ANHC’s mission to serve vulnerable communities, this breach hits even harder 💯 folks who already face barriers to care now have to worry about identity theft or worse. So, what can you do? • If you’re an ANHC patient, keep an eye on your email and bank accounts. Don’t click on any sketchy messages claiming to be from the hackers or anyone else. • Freeze your credit if you suspect your info’s been compromised, it’s a free way to lock down your financial life. • Push ANHC and local officials for transparency. They owe it to the community to come clean about the scale of this mess and what they’re doing to fix it. • Spread the word! Cybersecurity isn’t just for tech nerds, it’s about protecting your life, your privacy, and your peace of mind. #CybersecurityMatters #ProtectOurData #AnchorageStrong

This isn’t just a little leak; it’s a full-on data tsunami, and it’s got the potential to wreak havoc on thousands of lives.

I like the vision of the team. While my $shroom farming adventure kicked off as an experiment (with opportunity to be early), I might stick longer than anticipated, because of long term potential of the idea. #dyor #anonteam #codenotavailable #highrisk
