Everyday I can't help falling in love with @nextjs 13 #appdir since I viewed that 9-hour tut-video by @joshtriedcoding ! The routing + #zod validation + shadcn-ui + @t3dotgg's #uploadThing ; chef's kiss! And here I thought I'd never leave #sveltekit!

The size of breaking changes that will come to #Nextjs #appDir shortly is scaring me: mutations, possibly new filename conventions for client/server components, pages, and layouts.

The more I test #Nextjs13 #appDir and #Turbopack, the more unready it looks… I'm not talking "ready for prod", I'm talking "ready for anyone sane to use it for developing an obscure side project". The number of problems and bugs is insane (thread) #nextconf #nextjsconf #next13

@varshitbh @probonopd Mounting is necessary for ease of use & to keep the "1 app == 1 file" simplicity of handling. If you want to make use more complex, you're free to do so: 1. Extract the #AppImage somewhere (no mounting needed). 2. This gives you an #AppDir. 3. Run the payload app from the AppDir.
