Shri Ashtapad Mahatirth✨
Shri #Rushabh Dev Bhagwan attained Nirvan from #Ashtapad Tirth.
In memory, his son Bharat Chakravarti built a gemstone- studded Jinalay on the Ashtapad and installed Twenty four idols of Jain Tirthankars.
There are eight massive steps in the mountain to climb to reach the temple, hence it is known as Ashtapad.
Ashtapad Tirth is also referred to by such names as Ratnamay, Rajatadri, Sfatikachal in the scriptures.✨

A copy of the #Ashtapad located in the high mountain range of #Himalayas, is the Ashtapad at #Hastinapur, #UttarPradesh. The height of every step is equal to the diameter. It is believed that whoever visits Ashtapad, attains salvation - a beautiful sight to witness.

Yogis trying to climb reverred Shri Parvat #Ashtapad are found doing different Yogic postures on its initial footsteps
But Gandhar Gautam is found to be able to climb Shri Ashtapad
