@gmchamber The current eligibility criteria for Self-employment Income Support Scheme do not cover directors who pay themselves as dividends. But we @Gmchamber are staying in constant contact with British Chambers of Commerce and government, and will highlight this critical gap. #AskGMCC
#AskGMCC One Member is concerned that Directors who pay themselves a dividend have been left behind - a common theme amongst Members. Is the Government planning on revising the support available like they did with the Self-Employed?
#AskGMCC Another question on rent here π We pay our office landlords rent, which is all inclusive (Rent, Rates, Utilities etc) so have never had to apply for Small Business Rate Relief even though we would qualify. Can we still get the grant?
#AskGMCC a question regarding rent - We have large rented offices that are vacant at the minute as staff are trying to work from home so can the Government give a 3 month payment holiday to companies in rented contracts? Also we have a business loan - is there any plan for this?

#AskGMCC a common question from our export documentation members - are GMCC still offering our Export Documentation services and how these have been affected?
@gmchamber This has been a very complicated issue for local authorities to get a handle on. We are expecting news on this in the next few days and hopefully these will start to go out shortly. One of the big issues is that many premises will of course be empty/locked up.

#AskGMCC Greater Manchester businesses are still needing clarity on this - Is there any news when Manchester City Council will start sending out letters for to claim the Β£10,000 Small Business Grant Funding for businesses that claim small business rates relief?
