Meine Gammas schnurren noch immer. Lediglich ein regelmäßiges Entstauben der Kühlkörper/Lüfter ist notwendig, ansonsten rennen sie völlig problemlos.
Auch die eigene Umbrel/Raspberry Pi 5 BTC Node läuft störungsfrei.

Locking the ASIC temp to 53c in #AxeOS, Re-ran @MrV_777 Bitaxe-Hashrate_Benchmark twice and found a new personal unattended* setting giving me an average hashrate of 1.6TH/s.
Huge shoutout to @skot9000 and @osmu_global team for the introduction of ASIC Temp Fan Control in AxeOS v.2.7.0 (yes I need to update to v.2.7.1!)
Here's an overview of my tests:
🛌Test 1: Overnight test, London Temps are cooler
🌞Test 2: Daytime test, London ambient temp ~18c
Finer freq & Vol gradient testing + VREG Cutoff @ 65c.
Gave @grok both test data + dashboard data + my power_analysis JSON data + earlier findings. Most data included for anyone interested.
New updated setting for Bitaxe:
Frequency: 770MHz
Core Voltage: 1190mV
ASIC Temp: 53c (Locked c/o AxeOS)
VR Temp: 62 - 64c
Average TH/s: 1.64 TH/s

The dramatic cooling effect of #Copperzilla has a negative impact on ASIC Hashrate. At sub-47c, I’ve experienced hashrate throttling @ 735/1170 with my fan set at 80%.
To counter this, in #AxeOs set auto-fan to a desired ASIC temp (53c works a treat) and then watch that hashrate begin to climb.
The software is magic at keeping the ASIC at a constant operating temperature, even accounting for change in ambient temp. But make sure you have good thermal cooling for the VR.
As @trendkraft reported in his findings, the optimal operating ASIC temp is 50 - 60c.
Now, I can truly sit back and chill - for now!
