Constituents are regularly contacting us about Tier 2 ‘skilled worker’ visas. We have had three cases recently where constituents needed to travel for emergencies, where visas were late and @ukhomeoffice has been unable to expedite in time #BacklogBritain

Tories have created #BacklogBritain in everything from passports, driving tests, waiting at A&E, ambulance waiting times, operations, benefits, welfare, pensions, action on climate change, cleaning up rivers and seas, collections taxes, and many more. #ToryIncompetence
What a poor show this is. Unable to answer basic questions within the legal timeframe. No wonder so many constituents are exasperated with having to wait so long for their passport applications to be dealt with #BacklogBritain
Priti Patel was warned in May 2021 that the Passport Office was underperforming but she didn't lift a finger to stop the meltdown which is now causing families so much misery.
