This doesn't qualify as a #badmap. It could be a very good map if for each color gradient it showed number of cloudy days per year (average)

What makes this a #badmap? There's no baseline. The colors and numbers don't tell the story. Make it a percentage and that is very different than scary colors.

I love maps. Geek out over them. Could spend rest of life just looking at maps. Lately there's a whole subgenre of bad and inaccurate maps that are just as fascinating. This one, for example.
