It was amazing to work on the #BBCElection24 coverage this week. My role was to program and operate the vision mixer (a @GrassValleyLive Kahuna 9600), working with engineering, graphics, editorial and most importantly @chrisckmedia to make the BBC’s creative ideas a reality. A 🧵

Now for the technical bits: We wanted to be box-tastic this year, showing the audience as many stories of the night as possible. We had 3x main box types. Hub boxes (showing multiple feeds), pushbacks (showing graphics) and watching box (showing one feed). Here’s my macro buttons

Did you know that #BBCelection24 featured a slightly different intro sequence in each region? Decided to show it off, and since the broadcast was done beautifully, I've decided to gear myself up as well with that demo. Plus, attached the exit poll reveal for each region.
