This week started with one case of Covid in my class on Monday. By Wednesday more confirmed cases & 11 kids absent. Today 13 students away. The school has not & will not be informing any parents of the spread in our class & our school as per school board/govt policy #bced #bcpoli

Son tested positive for Covid 2 days ago. I had symptoms, got test, positive. His dad went for test yesterday w/no symptoms, told NO to test. Asked if he was being refused, told yes he was being refused. Made up symptoms on the spot, got test, POSITIVE. How is this still policy?

#bcpoli BC school covid tracker obtained 58 covid infection notices sent to homes including 4 for VOC. Yesterday 64 notices were sent. That means at least 124 infected humans - even though "schools are safer than home."

@pattibacchus The fact “armchair” epidemiologists could see where BC was headed months ago just shines a spotlight on how bad BCs pandemic response has been. @DrBonnieHenry @jjhorgan @adriandix are to blame for where we are right now. They ignored data and dismissed the warnings. They failed.

#bcpoli Woodward Hill in Surrey had far higher than single case of UK variant. Now confirmed 4 VOC cases and 1 wild virus case found through testing. Partial information is a lie in my books. This should have been revealed to the public, parents and teachers.

And.... with so many studies showing schools fuelling community transmission, safer #bced = safer BC!
