More classic poetry in the Elephants this morning! Today we looked at old fashioned and unfamiliar vocabulary and worked out the meaning from the context. We were able to use dictionaries and other sources to check we were correct. #bcpslovesreading
The Elephants have been inspired by classic poetry this week, including an in-depth study of 'The Eagle' by Alfred Lord Tennyson. This has provoked incredible thoughts about imagery as well as language choices. Here we are enjoying some more classic poetry! #bcpslovesreading
