#Museum30 Day 8 #controversial @NMIreland we are working to learn about #TravellerCulture focussing on a particular item of clothing known as the #beadypocket. While hands are busy we are discussing the recent wave of public racist slurs & refusal to recognise their ethnicity.

@RosinMurphy @latelateshow We are all geared up @NMIreland at Collins Barracks for the #beadypocket project and really looking forward to welcoming local Travellers, @PaveePoint and local women to work together. We have lots of buttons & trimmings but still collecting if you have some to donate.
Warmly reminded today of how our cultural crafts have been adapted in different ways - keeping the connection - a marching flag from I think 2009/2010 with people who couldn't be there, buttons included.
