(1/3) Thinking about what’s changed in pitcher development. This may be controversial but the predominant path to pitching has become velocity & spin. Arm strength is crucial, but maybe we need to revert back to teaching pitchers how to #BeAPitcher first. How do we do that?

Pitchers, whether u do/don’t have velocity at a young age, u’d better focus on #ArmHealth & learning how 2: locate, throw multiple pitches ➡️ strikes, read hitters, pitch ahead/behind, use ur D. U will realize why. #BeAPitcher #GetOuts #ESPTrained @ESPAmerican2025 @ESP2026_2027

@MWRecruitingLLC Pitching is locating the ball, making it move, and varying the time it takes the ball to reach home plate (velo). Learn to control the mechanic at 150', and commanding the ball at 60'6" becomes much easier. #longtoss #beapitcher #doitright
