Define dev however you'd like, I think most of the "Core Devs" are people who are in the chat/community group, but since Core isn't a company, the affiliations/etc are loose anyway. Dunno why you're choosing to make my innocuous comment into something big, but afaik, Portland is considered a Core Dev by most of X. Of course, since it's OSS, not all devs will be aligned all the time. Even in private companies, devs are often at odds with decisions made by management, product, etc. You're projecting something you feel about some zeitgeist moment onto a two word post I made. IDK what you're trying to prove here or what the agenda is, I don't think being a Core Dev is an accusation or has any sort of negative/etc connotation whatsoever aside from the roughly 20% of Bitcoin Twitter that is engaged around Core30/filters. I'm not part of that discussion, my response was to Adam's saying "nobody in the Space is a Core Dev," but as far as most of us know, Portland is.
