1 💬 Part of #blsCT, BLS Signatures enable the compression of a group of signatures into a compact one that can be used to authenticate the entire group. The aggregation is fully #decentralised & #permissionless; having no central #coordinator it is impossible to #blacklist.

3/ 🌱 Although also based on confidential transactions, #Lelantus is not compatible with pruned mode like #blsCT. Nodes in pruned mode don’t need to store the entire transaction history to keep validating transactions, offering a unique advantage for #scalability.

2/ ⭕ Compared to #RingCT, #blsCT can aggregate transactions to increase the ring size. This means the anonymity size can increase to the level of hundreds or thousands at block level in moments where the transaction volume is very high.

1/ 👥 #blsCT does not rely on a trusted setup like #zkSNARKs which can potentially be exploited. Should the zkSNARKs trusted setup be dishonest, continuous coin creation would be possible without anyone noticing.
