@AmBdSurg One solution would be for us to take the recert exam in its current format (for free), and then proceed with the CE. #ABSQE #boardsfail

They should not make people wait a full year to take boards if this doesn’t work out. That extra year could mean one full year of extra work without making partner, unable to take oral boards, and any number of other things.
Do better, ABS

Hey @DrMcInnisDIT @DGlaucomflecken @medicalaxioms @MDaware @docgrumpy and anyone else with a large #MedTwitter following, care to peruse the ABS thread an comment?
#boardsfail
Also: ABS has been using Twitter *only* for updates, not emailing candidates. People have been locked out of the test all day and unable to get through tech support.
They used a company with a 1-star app to run this.
#boardsfail
It would be great if the rest of #MedTwitter amplified the candidates concerns
I took my first half of the test....what happened tomorrow? Are they going to invalidate everyone’s tests? This whole thing is crazy. Everyone has too much time, energy, $ sunk into this
#boardsfail
So, just in case all of #MedTwitter is not aware - general surgery boards were virtual from home. Some of us got them done this AM (first half) - others....not so much #boardsfail
ABS Candidates: If you have not yet started your exam or are experiencing technical difficulties, please pause until 2:45 ET. We will have an update on our website at that time. We hope to begin testing again at 3 ET & will extend exam times as necessary https://t.co/wyCvjELOsi
