We’re a little late for #NationalBlackCatDay but we’re just in time for #Caturday!
The #BlackCat insignia was used by 17th Infantry Division (India) during the #SecondWorldWar. 9th Battalion the #BorderRegiment were part of this division during the India/Burma campaign.

Our Museum building is #90! Built as the #BorderRegiment Institute & opened in May 1932 it
incl a dining room for 204 men, reading room, cook-house & bar. Altho the #soldier's uniforms might be different, the bar has changed very little! #photofriday @armymuseumsuk @EHCarlisle
