😭💔NYCACC killed Rocket tonight…this beautiful one year old boy was surrendered due to a conflict in the home involving a nip…he was confused because of turmoil and made a mistake…some training would have helped him but instead he received a death sentence….I keep looking at his pic…don’t remember any others of him and I can’t help but think he knew he drew the short stick…he knew I can just tell from his look, his affect…humans shouldn’t be able to place pups in this situation, to know they’re in a bad place…I’m sorry Rocket…sorry you were abandoned to die with a stranger holding your paw as you floated into unconsciousness…run free 🌌 🌈 No one came….

It’s getting worse every day…the killing continues, it’s ramped up and these beautiful innocent pups were all betrayed by their humans who either surrendered them or let them go stray into the streets of NYC and so they end up in a municipal kill pound funded by grants and tax payers money, municipal culling of the unwanted that’s a national crisis. And the only victims are these beautiful healthy pups you see every night. You can see their pain, their grief, their utter confusion as to why, why are they imprisoned in this house of death where loud sounds, barking, whimpering…sheer terror that is all around and everlastingly present. And if they arrived scared, they decline into terrified, stressed, anxious beings who sink further into the category of the kill listed. The pups who lost their lives today in the city that never sleeps…the Capital of Strays, were Baby Beluga, Bayne, Oley & Yuma. Take a good hard look at their expression, their eyes…it is the look of being unloved, unwanted & discarded. This is what humans do to the most loyal beings on earth. Remember us better than we are…. No one came….
