At almost 16, #GoogleScholar still an unruly search tool. Doesn't handle complex queries well; 256 character limit; results NOT #reproducible. Agree w/ your points Aaron. GS strengths: its size for #discovery using #CitedBy & #browsability #findability for known items #medlibs

I feel GS is hard to beat from a purely discovery standpoint as it is still unrivaled in coverage (measured by citations) see @albertomartin latest findings https://t.co/HoxnV8Zqas but it also matches *full text*, something most rivals like Microsoft academic don't (1/2)
