#btcdeb now inherently supports miniscript. Whenever the miniscript parser is able to process the input, btcdeb will show you the miniscript tree alongside the script as you debug the code.

Approach lets you analyze policy and miniscript expressions:

#btcdeb (experimental taproot branch) now steps through the tapscript commitment verification phase. I don't know if this is particularly helpful so I may end up making this an option that you have to turn on.
The #btcdeb taproot branch now has a new utility called simply "tap". It currently only lets you create outputs with tapscripts, but the plan is to eventually let you also create spend outputs.
(This tool may be deprecated in the future, when Bitcoin Core has more wallet tools.)
Using the latest version of the #btcdeb taproot branch, you can now reconstruct parts of the taproot commitment (the tagged hash values).
Note that I am reversing the output at the bottom! These are presented as 256-bit hashes, and those tend to be displayed *big endian*!
The tapscript itself consists of 2 script paths, but you only see the one that was used to spend (the btcdeb starting point).

This is based on the WIP pull request to Bitcoin Core.
The plan is to fully support the new functionality, but this will take some time. (Help?)
Another #btcdeb update: pushed code to work with Bitcoin Core 0.19 code base.
I am also working on making it possible for you to patch a specific version of Bitcoin Core and turn it into an instance of btcdeb.
