All machine planed timber has a ripple in the surface no matter how well set or how many knives the machine has. The scraper is far superior way of finishing over sanding as paper is now expensive and gums easily on this resinous hardwood. #cabinetscraper #traditionaljoinery

I don't get to use my #CabinetScraper that often, but I noticed my big chopping board seemed to have developed a little high spot, meaning it tended to spin round in use - not ideal! So I scraped away a few thou just in the centre Now it's SO flat it almost feels glued down
