自室での遊びのイメージ
猫じゃらしに飛びかかるのは普通の猫と同じ。違うのはあるとき跳ねた拍子にごく短時間パタパタと宙に浮くようになる。これを繰りかえし少しずつ誘導すれば猫は空中でじゃれつき自然に飛行を覚える。最初に猫が浮かんだ瞬間は自動的に日付入りで撮影 #CatFly
ゲームは大別して２種類のモードをもつ。
１．主に育成を行う自室。給餌、愛撫、遊び、しつけなどを行う。画面内には猫と飼い主の手
２．『CatFly』と呼ばれる不特定のプレイヤーが集う公共の場。他の猫と自由に遊ぶことでさまざまなことを自然に学ぶ。お見合い用の個室もある #CatFly
翼を持つ猫は以下の習性をもち、群れの動きや光り方が次々に変化する。
１．目の前を飛ぶ猫の行動を模倣する
２．模倣しようとするがときどき間違える
３．群れたがる
４．疲れるので群れの先頭はずっと維持できない
５．各猫に上下左右の曲がり癖や特有の光り癖がある
６．歌う #CatFly
想像してみて。たくさんの鰯や小鳥が水中や空を巨大な魚や竜を思わせるほどの群れで移動している様を。想像できたら鰯や小鳥を小さな翼が生えた猫に置き換えて思い浮かべて。次は背景を夜に変えて猫たちを発光させて。これを眺めているのがプレイヤー。僕がゲーム内に作りたい“場” #CatFly
企画書の冒頭はこうかな。「ところかまわず飛びまわり、わけのわからない歌をうたったかと思うと、とつぜん光りだす猫。これはそんな“ちょっとだけ”変わった猫をペットにしたいと思った人たちの苦労と笑顔の物語だ」。なお仮タイトルはドッグランをまねて #CatFly
