Day 24- CD’s CD Party 💿
Wild that the first album cover that comes to mind for Disturbed is Indestructible, but I was pretty unfamiliar with a lot of these songs. Not a bad listen, just not my fave!

I remember the hype like it was yesterday. Putting all the Chinese Democracy album drama aside, I didn’t hate it, but not my favourite.

I grew up listening to all their albums on repeat. Been a while since I listened to this one- forgot it was live. Also, the bonus tracks are just 10minutes of on-stage banter. 😂😂

For shame, but this was my first full listen of ‘Bleach’ - Nirvana’s debut studio album. Also, does anyone else remember that rule about Bonus/Secret songs - or did a lot of people lie to me? 😂

Almost 20 years to the day since this album dropped! Not sure how this band escaped my ears in the 2000’s, but here we are - discovering Dead Poetic in 2026.

She don’t get much more 2008 than Saving Abel. Not a top spot for me, but I still enjoyed it!

Going in I had only ever heard Into the Ocean and Hate Me. Foiled is a powerful and emotional record. I’ll definitely be going back for another listen.

Day 16- CD’s CD Party💿Once again, I am blown away at a new appreciation for the music I love. I grew up in the download era, so I owned CDs, but also a ton of burnt mixes. Songs for the Deaf is easily a top 10 album for me now. Wowzers.

Slash’s debut solo album - full of bangers. When you’ve got collabs with Ozzy, Lemmy, and Chris Cornell - tough to go wrong. Great listen.

Second F11 pull, and first 90’s listen from Cousin Donnie’s binder. Fresh off the name change from Rainbow Butt Monkeys to Finger Eleven - ‘Tip’ is great! Only knew 1 song going in and loved Thin Spirits!

Neither Cousin Donnie or I could remember how we discovered Social Code and he thinks that could have ended up in the binder from a friend or ex 😂 Nevertheless- GREAT listen. SC is a Pop Punk Emo dream. 🫶🏻
