Entrails left on the platform after an incredible performance of #Gerontius with @thechoir @DTConductor @robmuz #AshleyRiches. Simply stunning. πππ
Day 28: The #DreamOfGerontius.
#Elgar is a particular favourite of our MD @DTConductor. These short excerpts are taken from the @mozartplayers live βarchiveβ recording of our performance with them in @Southbank last year.

Day 26: @BrittenOfficial - This Little Babe from #CeremonyOfCarols.
It may be short, at only 82 seconds, and simple, with just voice and harp, but the complexity of #ThisLittleBabe, utilising overlapping lines, builds to mimic a stunning echo effect... (1/3)

Day 24: It's #midsummersday, so what better occasion to watch @russelldavies63' adaptation of #Shakespeare's #AMidsummerNightsDream on the @BBCiPlayer? https://t.co/vmhFPd7Oyo
With a stunning all-star cast, listen out for us on @murraygold's fabulous #soundtrack!

Day 18: #Honegger's Jeanne D'Arc au BΓ»cher. #cefcjune
The work has an important part for the #ondesMartenot, an early electronic instrument (played at the premiere by its inventor Maurice Martenot) which is nowadays a favourite of @radiohead's #JohnnyGreenwood
Day 17: #Decca90 by @wisemandebbie.
To celebrate @DeccaRecords' 90th birthday, the renowned composer wrote a piece around the notes D E C & A and at the same time also kindly agreed to become a patron of #CEFC!

This spectacular performance piece in 2019 @bbcproms saw us and 3 other symphonic choirs each team up with a community choir (totalling more than 600 singers!) evoking oceans, winds & mountains - quite an epic undertaking!
Day 13: A piece based on a novel. Take @neilhimself's book, add a dash of @DavidGArnold's music, chuck in @michaelsheen & #DavidTennant, mix in our angelic and demonic vocals at @AIRStudios and what do you get?... Why @GoodOmensPrime of course! https://t.co/ZZ4fInmYwG

It's day 05 of #cefcjune, so it's a piece that features a number. We've chosen #17Days by @JamesKMcCarthy. The piece, commissioned by #CEFC, was about the rescue of the Chilean miners. Here, our MD @DTConductor chats with James about the work...

We paused our #cefcjune posts yesterday, respecting #BlackOutTuesday, so we're on
Day 2 this morning. You don't get much more rock & roll than taking to the stage with #Oasis for the #BBCElectricProms. It was captured brilliantly in this short round up... https://t.co/zX3GfrRlmE
It's the start of a new month and we'd like to add a little bit of daily cheer in the hope that it won't be too long before we can bring the joy of singing together back into both our lives and those of our audiences.
Each day throughout June, we'll share... (1/2)
