If everything remains constant, Gift Ostallos Siziba will one day become the first Ndebele President of Zimbabwe. He speaks fluent Shona, Ndebele, and English — the essential tools needed to communicate with the people and unite them behind a vision. He is also exceptionally smart and is currently pursuing his PhD, a reflection of both intellect and discipline. If Zimbabweans ever chose to vote for competence instead of loyalty to failed politicians, Siziba would one day rise to the presidency. When I listen to him speak, I come away with a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing that the future could indeed be in safe hands. As Big Josh once said, “Zimbabwe will not die, the youth will one day rescue it.” Siziba embodies that hope. He is proof that a new generation, grounded in ideas, knowledge, and courage, can deliver the Zimbabwe we dream of. He is not afraid to debate ideas, and he does not get upset when you disagree with him. He engages to learn and to teach, and I love listening to him. At 33, he still has seven more years to sharpen his skills. Without tribalism, he will one day lead Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe’s rebirth will not come from tired old men clinging to power; it will come from young leaders like him who dare to believe in solutions and who carry the fire of tomorrow in their hearts. Instead of fighting these young bright sparks, our duty as elders should be to help them thrive and become even better at what they are already good at! Full discussion; https://t.co/A8W5UbGOkh
