Never fail crystal clear broth/stock. Put your water & bones/meat/veg/seasoning in an oven proof pot. Cover & bake at 350f for 3 hours. Uncover for the last hour. Add water as needed. Longer cook times for deeper flavour. #cheflife

Today I was able to make a potato & sausage stir fry. I have to say that I can only make this on a good day. There’s lots of cutting involved (sausages, garlic, shrooms & tomatoes). I use a desk chair so I don’t have to stand too long. #ChronicCooking #ChronicPain

Yesterday Luna had her Covid shot around dinner time, so it was up to me to cook. I made pasta with frozen spinach, cream cheese and tomatoes. It’s something I can make myself cause it only takes 15 minutes! #ChronicCooking #ChronicPain #ActuallyAutistic

Can we talk about how a dishwasher is not a luxury item for someone with a chronic illness? It’s the one thing that keeps it manageable to use my kitchen at all. When I do manage to cook, I don’t have energy left for the dishes. #ChronicCooking #chronicillness #ActuallyAutistic

I love the jars of Patak’s curry! They have great flavour and you can make all kind of variations. On good days I can add tons of fresh veggies but on bad days it’s also okay with frozen peas, cubed potatoes & cut chicken. #chronicCooking #ChronicPain #chronicillness
