In #EXP400 cores, scientists report "diamicton," from the Greek: dia (δια)= through & meiktós (µεικτός)= mixed. 🤔It's a jumble of land-derived sediment, ranging in size from clay to boulders🪨, all in a mud/sand matrix. Check out the variety of these #clasts!#NSFFunded #IODP
