@chipublib safety protocols are wholly inadequate and endanger workers and patrons. If opening libraries to the public during an airborne pandemic is so safe, why don't the large majority of other cities do it? What evidence does @chicagosmayor have that they don't? #closecpl

Chicago Public Library tea: an employee at one branch was told that they were potentially exposed to covid at work on December 7, but the branch didn't close til December 11 for covid. 2 employees at the branch tested positive as of December 14 #CloseCPL #ProtectLibraryWorkers
