Worse than #OpenForSummer but #CloseForFall is no threshold for the return of any restrictions. It's always harder to get compliance once fully lifting restrictions (basic parenting 101). #UCPChoseThis @CMOH_Alberta @jkenney @AdrianaLaGrange @UCPCaucus Not here for Albertans.

@DrKeez @JaniceT93912546 @KindyQueen12T @kesmithNB @jkenney @CMOH_Alberta Refusal to #CloseForFall has me more concerned. There is no threshold at this point they will reinstate restrictions. And like my kids- much harder to reinforce restrictions needed once you fully remove them.

@jkenney I prefer real science as compared to #UCPScience. Gradual re opening until second vaccinations levels hit around 70%. No one trusts you. Not even your base. Most people I engage with figure you are #OpenForSummer so you can #CloseForFall. Yet you persist. And daily fail Albertans

#OpenForStampede #CloseForFall. Is that the #KenneyPlan? His FB base thinks so. As do many of us. Slower re opening until well into 2nd doses would be wiser.... But we shall see. #ABLeg #ABEd #AbCovid19

The @PHE_uk report today paints a grim picture - TL;DR: -delta variant has almost replaced the beta variant in much of England - 50-60% more transmissible - ~2.5x higher risk of hospitalisations - Schools appear to be a key area of spread with many large no.s of clusters 🧵
