Fun fact: We can stop the #WrongWayAirTrain, #CloseLGA and replace a lot of those trips by investing in @Amtrak!

On second thought, they really didn't look hard enough at the #CloseLGA alternative....

Seriously, we should #CloseLGA and build a high speed rail hub at #SunnysideYards!

@CityParksAll @mitchell_silver This is the #FutureWeWant for LaGuardia Airport! It should belong to the people (and the birds!) as a beautiful @nycpark along a restored and remediated @FlushingBay. #CloseLGA

Great, the sea level is rising and they've added a giant shower head with artsy holograms of the buildings that may be submerged by the end of the century, thanks (partially) to air travel emissions! #CloseLGA #ActOnClimate

.@PANYNJ is unveiling a new water feature at LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B Arrivals and Departures Hall. Located at Level 4, it was developed by the French company Aquatique Show.

#CloseLGA Yes, cleaner planes are good and they should be phased in as rapidly as possible. We should also be planning for fewer of them, fewer flights and fewer airports over the next few decades. In the meantime, we should build out high-speed rail. #GreenNewDeal #ActOnClimate

Hydrogen-powered planes, which emit no carbon dioxide, could be carrying commercial passengers as soon as 2035. But that doesn’t mean these “green” flights won’t still be contributing to global warming. Here’s why. https://t.co/YFC92mwHB7

Since I started local news reporting in 2013, it's been clear to me that we should: 1) #CloseLGA 2) Get the #USOpen out of Flushing Meadows Corona Park Both are terrible neighbors with ridiculously adverse impacts on #Queens communities and our environment.
