Using #serverless services on #AWS to build your solutions can scale beautifully when the boundaries are drawn well. In the example below, #CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, #Lambda, #DynamoDB, and Cognito each get a clear role, with practical reasoning behind every choice. One of the most interesting parts of the setup here is the caching strategy. Hashed assets cached aggressively at the edge while index.html is kept on a short TTL so changes show up quickly. The layered protection model with (Web Application Firewall) WAF, API Gateway throttling, and Lambda concurrency is also a nice approach.
