@PlayCODMobile you DO NOT need a #CODM2 App. I know it’s super tempting and new for the devs to start over and build upon what #CODM has done and how far you guys came in 5-Years and still to this day the best @CallofDuty to date even with #BlackOps6.
NO OTHER #CallofDuty can outplay, outlast, and outwit #CallofDutyMobile.
Here are reasons NOT to make a #CODM2App:
1. Splitting the player base is a direct detriment even if its players from CODM1 and CODM2. You NEVER want to split your cash cow. This will confuse players and tons of people will just leave. There is NOTHING new about reinventing this wheel. Keeping everyone on the same app is what you want the most.
2. All purchased items needs to be transferable from CODM 1 to CODM 2, makes no sense. It’s will just end up being CODM 1 again just on a CODM 2 App (it’s redundant).
3. Having players access a new app in different regions again and be devastating to hard code again; useless man hours.
Reasons to keep going with #CODM1:
1. All players are on the same app
2. Keep the cash cow running
3. Keep improving on what you already have
4. You need more Mythic Items in the game (actual Mythics because these new Mythics that are being pumped out feels AI generated and honestly it’s boring)
5. You already have the space on locked, there is NO other mobile game on the market outpacing you in terms of sales and content (Destiny Mobile might be the 1st mobile game to rival you but we shall see)
6. Expand the CODM universe and bring CODM to PC (the amount of new players you will have from the PC market will double and even triple your monthly sales). CODM PC would be a wise investment even if it means taking a hit with Lucky Draws because PC gaming laws are more strict but that shouldn’t matter as it’s still FREE money for the company even if you have to sell a Mythic item for $24-$35 it’s also a quantity game, you already have the quality and numbers.
6. Also, the amount of newer devices people will buy just for CODM PC would be insane. You would shift the mobile gaming market like @ASUS_ROG and @redmagicgaming to make a dedicated handheld PC gaming device to have the very best specs and performance and graphics and cooling to run CODM PC on these new devices (like ROG Ally X but RedMagic can 100% make a better handheld gaming PC rig).
7. If anything CODM: Zombies needs to be its own app because you can do so much more with a dedicated Call of Duty Mobile Zombies app in terms of content and lucky draws but you would NEED a dedicated team to run this app it would be double/triple the work but it would pay 2x-4x per month in terms of sales. It’s an untap market worth investing. You would honestly need to hire me at this point and I would take my pay in Bitcoin. Let me lead this. @timistudios @TencentGames
CODM 2 will be out in 2023-24 .
