One of our #ConservingCanvas grant-funded initiatives is happening right now at @NGIreland.
Paintings conservators are taking part in several week-long training workshops to gain deeper experience in linings, glue paste, and much more. The goal is to apply their learnings to the structural treatments of two collages by Juan Gris and one painting by Guercino (Giovanni Francesco Barbieri) in the museum's collections.
Thanks to @GettyFoundation for for #conservingcanvas training funding to enable us to have two Gavin Hamilton paintings as part of #reframed @hunterian art gallery reopening.
