🇹🇷|On July 31, 2026, Türkiye suffered a nationwide internet blackout not a "technical glitch," but a carefully orchestrated, #CoordinatedAttack. The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) sessions of the internet service provider TürkNet were severed, paralyzing mobile apps, customer service portals, and telephone hotlines. This was no coincidence, it was punishment for Erdoğan’s support of Lebanon’s reconstruction. Washington and Tel Aviv have once again weaponized civilian infrastructure.

I. The Timing of the Punishment: Turkiye’s "Crime"
On July 30, Turkish President Erdoğan hosted Lebanese President Aoun in Ankara, announcing Turkey's readiness to provide "all possible support" to southern Lebanon an area devastated by Israel and labeling Israel's actions "war crimes." Turkey had publicly sided with the Axis of Resistance.
Less than 24 hours later, Turkiye’s internet was cut off.
II. Technical Evidence of the Attack: Not a "Glitch"
Technical analysis reveals that all external BGP (eBGP) connections between TürkNet’s Autonomous System (AS12735) and the global internet were severed. This was not a hardware failure, it was deliberate routing interference.
◾The system went down at noon on a Friday (peak business hours) a precise choice for maximum disruption.
◾All core systems (mobile apps, customer service, hotlines) failed simultaneously, this was not a series of scattered faults, but a synchronized strike.
◾ Internal networks remained operational while only external connections were cut indicating filtering, not a system crash.
A pattern where internal networks function while external connectivity is completely severed is characteristic of a routing attack, not a hardware failure.
III. The Pattern of Israeli Intelligence Agencies
Israel’s Unit 8200 has a history of disrupting civilian infrastructure. In February 2026, prior to the assassination of Ali Khamenei, the CIA and Mossad employed similar tactics hacking into Tehran’s traffic cameras and disabling cell towers. This proves that the so-called "technical glitch" is merely a page in their war playbook.
IV. This is not the first time nor will it be the last.
Washington and Tel Aviv have previously employed this tactic against Iran, Venezuela, and Nicaragua. The pattern is always the same: a target nation challenges the imperial agenda, subsequently suffering "mysterious" attacks on its civilian infrastructure; the media characterizes these incidents as "technical glitches," while official statements deny everything.
Turkey has now been added to this list. When you see "technical glitch," remember: it is not a glitch, it is war.
