What SNP, indy parties and YES Movement have totally failed to do is establish a #core_consensus of key policies to bridge an independent Scotland from independence day and temporary SNP-led Government to first independent Parliamentary election and a new independence government.
The likelihood is that an #SNP_led government will bridge the period between Scotland's independence date and the first Holyrood election for #Independent_Scotland.
To achieve that, a #core_consensus is needed with other parties/YES groups on an #interim_currency and #EU_m_ship.
@madeye611 I only wish that was true. Reality is, the indy parties are continually fighting the the political campaign for election to the first indy Parliament in advance. If they don't stop it, it will be indy's undoing. #core_consensus

I have always believed that doorstep canvassing and street stalls are the most siginifcant contributors to YES and that online indy, in its many forms, is auxiliary The problem post-Brexit is what to say on the doorstep, because there's no #core_consensus in key areas.

There's a great silence from #SNP_HQ on #indyref2, on key issues of campaign focus, on the mechanics of getting to the ballot box (Catalonia?) and no #core_consensus on central campaign pitch
#Growth_Commission could provide a basis for negotiation on a #core_consensus with Greens, SSP, YES groups, but only if presented as such.

#YES_Movement doesn't need "a rewrite of the failed economic arguments" that lost us #indyref1, least of all from one political party that may not form the government of an independent Scotland. We need a #core_consensus and a focus on why - not how - we can run our own affairs.
#Scotland will probably never unite on a single social and economic vision, any more thank any other democracy does, and its independent future will be plurality of views, minority governments and coalitions. Unit on independence and a minimal #core_consensus before independence.

I'm whistling in the wind with my argument for a #core_consensus among YES parties and groups to provied an elegantly simple core message for street and doorstep activists. None seem willing to stop grinding party/group pet policies - prematurely fighting the post-indy election!
