#New analysis suggests the universe's expansion is slowing, not accelerating, indicating #DarkEnergy may weaken over time and challenging the standard #CosmologicalModel. @RoyalAstroSoc https://t.co/yTlDYJy3XX https://t.co/YGzpw4y6jO

The #BigBang is not the only game in town: The #Universe may be #Eternal The Big Bang is the prevailing #CosmologicalModel of the universe. But some authors argue that it may never have happened because the model has encountered countless inconsistencies with empirical evidence. Though cosmologists have made ad-hoc additions to the theory to make it fit observations, we may consider other alternatives, including those ones of a #UniverseWithoutBeginning | Martín López Corredoira » IAI TV: https://t.co/hKDUgzPUK3

A #cosmologicalmodel is a mathematical description of the universe that attempts to explain its current behavior and evolution over time. We are pleased to welcome @apoorvashah999, an alumna of our college, @FergussonPune, for a lecture on 'Cosmological Models of Universe'. (2/3)
