CPPDは「高齢者の急性単関節炎」だけではない。
CPPD 134例をdata drivenにcluster解析すると、臨床的に4つの表現型が抽出された。
C1：高齢発症＋単関節＋CRP高値
→ acute CPP crystal arthritis型
C2：単関節主体＋持続性関節炎
→ 既存分類に当てはまらないhybrid型
C3：多関節＋持続性関節炎＋比較的低CRP
→ chronic CPP crystal inflammatory arthritis型
C4：多関節＋再発性フレア＋CRP高値
���・脊椎病変も多く、比較的若年・男性多め
→ PMR-like phenotype
特にC4はPMRとの鑑別が重要ですね。
またC3もRAと間違わないように注意
