So those were #Creation20 12” EPs I bought during 1990-2, although I actually bought 21. Any guesses to the missing one? I didn’t buy many more Creation singles after 92, I switched to albums. But I can’t ignore Slowdive’s EPs, some great songs, on Spotify if you haven’t heard.

Day 20 of #Creation20 Nov 1992 CRE137T Lazarus - The Boo Radleys For a long time I considered this my favourite Boos song. This 12” version in particular, with several minutes of guitar noises before the full trumpet blast and song proper. An epic and glorious masterpiece.

#Creation20 1 CRE017 May 1985. I was 17 & graduating high school. Bobby Gillespie was 23 and writing poetry to match Jim Beattie's music. I love these 2 songs--all 260 seconds worth--they are the epitome of C86 jangle and turned me into a C86 freak.
