On Friday night's stream I did some more work on Frieza's ship. Originally it was designed for FDM printing, but with SLA I can worry a lot less about geometric pitfalls. This test print is one of the 14 legs.

Over the last week or two I've built a fitted desk to use when I'm working from home. It didn't go to plan the whole way through, but I got it done! Built from an oak kitchen worktop my mum was getting rid of.

Test print with the Anycubic Eco resin. The resin is blue, and I hit it with a heavy coat of graphite powder because why not. The real print will be larger and painted jade, possibly with some gold dry brushing on the high spots.

It's hard to demonstrate the 3D effect of the pupil now that it's painted, but once the proper LEDs are fitted, it should show up nicely. And yes, I know that's not how pupils work.

Eye of Thundera, printed in elegoo_official Red on my anycubicofficial Photon. This might be the winning process for this part! Need to finish it and try it with proper lights. The pupil will now be a cavity, with the inside painted.
