We've completed a prelim #cropmap20 for #ABag & #MBag
Due to circumstances beyond us we haven't yet received crop insurance data for SK.
Our system takes data from neighboring provinces to help strengthen our results, as such MB & AB will be redone when SK data arrives. #cdnag
#cropmap20 update: Eastern Canada is done. You'll notice that due to regional COVID travel restrictions, we were not able to get ground data in large sections of the Atlantic provinces. In these areas only a generalized Ag class is visible (no specific crop types) #cdnag
Well 2020 has presented A LOT of challenges for #cropmap20. Fortunately we keep pressing on. Here is a SNEAK PEAK of our Ontario map that just finished processing. 1st image is of Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec. The 2nd image is of the Timmins area.

Big thanks to @AAFC_KTT_NB who through COVID travel restrictions still managed to gather #cropmap20 observation points in the Moncton/Sussex/Sackville regions of New Brunswick for us to use.

Shoutout to the @infopei Department of Environment, Water & Climate Change. They took over #cropmap20 data collection for us this year & provided us with an great database of observations. This will let us create our 10th consecutive Crop Inventory map of the province. #teamwork
