🚨 $90 MILLION REPORTEDLY STOLEN = LEDGER BUYERS WARNED!
A worrying story is emerging around people who purchased Ledger hardware wallets through reseller #CryptoBillis . Reports claim multiple buyers have lost their funds, with the total losses approaching $90 million.
One reported victim, known as TY24Ya, bought a Ledger device from the reseller around three weeks ago and deposited 7 million USDT into it. Then, just 20 hours ago, the entire $7 million reportedly disappeared.
If these figures are confirmed, this could be one of the largest individual losses linked to the reported incidents.
⚠️ Important fact you all need to know: This does not establish that Ledger devices themselves are compromised or prove the reseller caused the theft. The exact attack method and responsibility still need to be verified.
If you own a hardware wallet, always verify the seller, initialize the device yourself, and never share or enter your recovery phrase on a website or with anyone claiming to offer support.

One security tip.
When you buy a hardware wallet (or download a new software wallet), leave it for a couple of weeks before moving any meaningful amount of funds to it.
And follow the news in those weeks (and after), for hacks, etc. Hardware can be tempered with, software official website can be hacked. Self custody comes with extra responsibilities.
