And continuing this thread on mentorship and building #csecs18 communities, thank you @zugenia for specifically planning karaoke and lunches, but more generally for always being this welcoming presence at CSECS. It was my first (non-grad-student) conference four years ago...

I was so fortunate to be able to take part in the mentorship lunch they organized and so appreciative of the time I shared with @TitaChico1. Thank you, Tita, for your knowledge and kindness and, really, everything. I have a five year plan now. #csecs18

In Toronto for 24 hours and in a limbo between #csecs18 and campus teaching/studenting life. I don't know what to do with myself, but I am brimming with "thank you"s that I have to get out. They will undoubtedly keep trickling out over the next few days but for now...

Thanks so much! I really appreciate everything about #CSECS18 not only for the fellowship but also for its grad students-friendly environment. I met amazing scholars and gained confidence in my research. The ideal place for grad students.

I was twitter-shy at #CSECS18 but now that I'm home I have to say, thank you to all the incredible thinkers & speakers who made it such a rewarding experience, and thank you to the organizers who made it happen! I had a great time (and even made it to the falls on my way out)
