Govt needs to do better job of env. impact assessment, etc. Accurate BCR calc including all env impacts would've revealed these issues and killed #cselr project.

From Bede Noonan, Acciona, at #sydneylightrail hearing today. What they've had to do to get 300m of track laid on Anzac Parade: Ausgrid had to relocate some overhead services so Acciona could put its tram poles/wires in. Started on 26 Sept 2017 and... (THREAD) @Tony_Bowen #nswpol
The pole had the wrong foundation and was the wrong pole, so they had to change the pole again. On 2 August 2018, Ausgrid went to change the wires, but there was a power outage to 60 properties. Finally on 11 Sept 2018 they replaced the wires. Sigh, #cselr
